Hi OBST parents and athletes,

Just wanted to reach out one last time as we have now wrapped our first season operating as a USAS year-round team. Congratulations to all 24 athletes and their families who make up our wonderfully small, but mighty team! I am so proud/honored to be your coach and grateful for the culture we are building in our community surrounding this sport. I hope all of you feel the positive impact we are making in the area. The future is bright and it would not be possible without you! I appreciate each and every one of you for your support and enthusiasm. Let's keep it rolling into 2025!

Attached you will find the results from this past weekend's meet if you have not already seen them in Meet Mobile/SwimTopia. Again, SO proud. Considering the fact that we have been out of the water this past week (some longer with Thanksgiving), our swimmers truly did a solid job. I really just wanted everyone to have fun at this meet and I think that was accomplished.

A special shoutout to Ava Bissell who swam a 41.84 50yd backstroke. With this time, if she swims at a USAS-sanctioned meet, she will qualify for Southeasterns!

A friendly reminder that registration for the next season (Jan 6 - May 2) will CLOSE on Monday, December 30th. If you are planning to return in the Spring only, please register and let me know if that is the case. I may be able to open registration closer to March again, but that is not a guarantee.
