OBST parents, 

I hope everyone had a splendid weekend with their loved ones. 

THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 24TH -- We need all hands on deck! We are running a swim meet during practice time to ensure athlete attendance. This will be an intrasquad meet that is practice for ALL of us. Please make an effort to mark your child's attendance as well as your volunteer position in SwimTopia. (Everyone should have been aware of this event since the end of March. We changed the date during the first week of April.) 

Sadly, we have only one volunteer signed up. I would prefer to have 12 timers. We could make six work, potentially... I'd like to have a clerk of course and a head timer as well. The other positions are things that require training for, so I don't expect those to be filled at this time. 

However, please be aware that those are the official positions in which we must have people trained for in order to run USAS approved swim meets. If you are interested in becoming a certified official for meets we host, PLEASE e-mail me. 

We will have warm-ups at 3:45 p.m. and the meet will start at 4:30 p.m. 

Please enter the pool from the right side gate. The restrooms will be open to all, except the shower rooms. The shower rooms are for athletes only. I want to bring attention to this and practice, as this is a major rule at USA swim meets.
