Hi team!

I appreciate your patience as we navigate our facility's heater malfunctions and exercise every option to accomodate all patrons and athletes over the next couple of days. 

• 1) Practice tonight is officially CANCELLED! At this exact moment (2:45 p.m.) the pool is 78.8 degrees. I know it will continue to drop about a degree an hour. It's miserable and I'm not going to put our swimmers and staff through the unnecessary. 
• 2) With that said... tomorrow (WED 12/3), the Gulf Shores Bodenhamer Rec Center has graciously offered us pool access that afternoon. Of course any athlete of ours is welcome to attend, but I would definitely appreciate all swimmers attending Auburn this weekend taking the opportunity to get in the water. We will hold practice at GS for blue/orange from 4-5 p.m. and junior/senior from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
• Thursday 12/4, we will have dry-land work outs offered at the OB Community Center across from the adult fitness center on campus. Practices will begin at normal time for all groups but be held for an hour only: Orange 4-5 p.m. and Junior/Senior 5-6 p.m.

If you cannot attend these practices, I completely understand. We have to make due with what options we have. We SHOULD be back to normal next week with the exception of no practice (for those who attended Auburn) on Monday, 12/8.
