Hi makos, 

Today is officially the last practice of our season (...and probably the last detailed e-mail you'll receive from me this season as well!). This summer has flown by with a pretty stacked competition schedule. I applaud all of our swimmers and families for your effort, commitment, travel, and support!

We have 25 athletes racing this weekend! Those families have been contacted separately regarding volunteer positions, timeline, team spirit, etc. I was told the heat sheet would be made available to us this evening for at-home printing. Please refer back to the CMSA dashboard regularly to see any City Meet updates.

If your swimmer is not racing in the MCAL City Meet Championship this weekend, I will see them at practice today and once more at our Awards Banquet on Monday, 7/29 from 6-8 p.m.

This celebration is a potluck and it is important for us to know the proper headcount, amount of tables, food, etc. It is sincerely appreciated if you would mark your attednance as well as utilize the "Job" section to sign up for a dish to bring. If all dishes are spoken for on the sign up, please feel free to bring an item of your choice. You may utilize the comment section for any notes.

I will be accepting photo submissions for our banquet slideshow up through Saturday evening! Please either text, slack message, or e-mail your images to me.

Lastly, registration for OBST's Fall 2026 season is OPEN for Orange Beach residents and returning athletes through the weekend. See the flyer below for further details. Come Monday, 7/27, registration for Fall 2026 will open to the public. The registration window will close on Thursday, August 6th -- claim your athlete's spot while you can!
